Fully covered, ballistic overhead vertical baffled range treated with sound abatement materials and designs to reduce the acoustic footprint. Safe and spacious these ranges are divided into three separate bays allowing three different activities to take place simultaneously without interruption. The bay design also breaks up the shooting distances into three areas each specific to a particular type of shooting. The C2 Shooting Center is a U.S. Navy approved training facility for high risk training and meets the requirements of the 1027-3B regulation as a no blue sky baffled containment range. These ranges are also available for rent by bono fide shooting organizations, law enforcement agencies, military commands or in support of military contract training. 25 Yard Range (WB-1)
15 position range bay with 13 movable target frames which can be placed at 7, 15 and 25 yards for rimfire, shotgun and handgun. The other 2 positions are rifle sight in stations fixed at a distance of 25 yards.
This range bay is also available for rent by law enforcement agencies, military commands or in support of a military training contract. Contact C2 staff for range rental requirements and availability.

200-300 Yard Range (W-5)
The only public walk on range of its kind in Tidewater. Offering 9 long range shooting positions for high powered rifles in all disciplines including bench, standing, sitting and prone. Also includes two 100 yard zero confirmation positions.

Special Requirements for 200-300 Yard Range (W-5)
All shooters must pre-qualify their weapon's cartridge trajectory (primarily confirming the calibers ability to fly flat enough from muzzle to target without the projectiles flight path encountering the overhead concrete baffles). Shooters shall additionally confirm their weapons zero at 100 yards at one of the 100 yard confirmation positions before shooting on the long distance range. Once qualified, your firearm shall be denoted as an approved caliber with an approved zero for use on this range.This measure, which at first glance would appear unnecessary to most shooters, greatly reduces the possibility of damage to the overhead concrete baffles which aids in our ability to offer you the opportunity to shoot at these longer ranges safely and at a reduced cost. Future maintenance would surely be greater if this requirement was not strictly enforced.
Imagine the damage incurred if all individual shooter were allowed unabated to attempt to fire their weapon at 300 yards with a cartridge/ weapon combination which was, (a) not properly zeroed and, (b) which fires a cartridge that does not have a flat enough trajectory to accurately complete the shot without encountering the overhead concrete baffle and its related structure.
